Introductory Quantum Physics

I have chosen an excellent modern text – indeed it is not even yet
published. It is A
Modern introduction to Quantum Physics by John S. Townsend available to us
in a pre-published format (costing only $1 through the physics office).
There are a number of other good sources in the Cornell Library usually
cataloged under the more passé title for a course at this level and that is
“modern physics”. One of
particular note is Quantum Physics of Atoms, Molecules, Solids, Nuclei and Particles
by Eisberg and Resnick.
